Here we go the start of a brand new chapter of Bokura No Kiseki, chapter 14. I was going to call this chapter invitation new player but than decided to call it the enemy within because after you read this chapter you will understand why. The question of the day, after reading this chapter are you closer to understanding who are enemies and who are allies. Also, after reading this chapter do you feel that there are more people out there we need to watch out for, who feels something major will happen soon among the main players, mainly who is not telling the truth this connects to the first question. Oh just for fun what team do you belong to as a fans, team moswick, team zestria, or team church.

DeleteThank you guys, first of all i am again in awe of Minami's wit, i just love that about him. In a more serious issue, things are getting more intense, although i know that death is something that is natural from the past life, but for someone in the present to die during the story, i dont really like that. I dont want Yanuma to die. Not at all. This makes me more suspicious of Zeze but then again, i saw him with everyone when the first attack happen so he is not the first culprit. Im now dizzy with my own thoughs. *sigh*

Im thinking the church is more involved in the attack that occurred than what they are admitting, if ootami is concerned about that missing priest and they all make that concerned face, than that priest must be someone of importance or even greater in connecting the past than the bishop

ReplyDeleteI get a feeling we wont know nothing until volume 5 since there is only one more chapter in volume 4, but didnt you find it interesting prince eugene face at end he looks familiar, I noticed one thing all the characters in the present sort of look like their past counterparts, like they carry features connected to their past selves.

To answer your question I think I would have to side with Zerestria for now, if for just Minami's epic bluffs alone lol.
Also, I've been wondering this for a while, but why is モースヴィーグ translated as moswick, wouldn't moswick be モースウィーク ?

Hi Jason Allen... to answer your question, the original name was problematic in it's pronunciation and how it would be spelled in English... It could be "Mossviggu" , it could be "Morseviggu" ... when our TL for this series, Fanceli, stumbled upon this word and I was helping her with it I mentioned "how about we use 'Moswick' ?" and that's how we came to use the word "Moswick" ... thanks for noticing this and bringing it up but it's a matter of "too little, too late" at this point... seeing as how we've used the term for some 10 chapters it's also a matter of "you can't change a horse midstream" ... hope this is explanation is satisfactory for and I hope this does not tarnish your experience with our TL! THANKS AGAIN FOR NOTICING!

ReplyDeleteThe way they talk about the method behind the priest attack sounds like you have to hit the ground in order for it to split. That would mean they'd have to have come out from the classroom, in which case Kamioka would have seen them. Maybe she's actually the missing priest, remembered, and used a counter attack or something... though I doubt it. If she was someone with a past life it would be better if she was Glen.
Im thinking why is a priest hiding who they are unless they did something so bad that they have to keep hidden, the invading army invaded to easily in the past, I think church priest were involved or took sides in which they violated the church neutrality.

Delete@ NJMANGA It could be that the priest in question used the disruption of church due to the invasion to get their hands on the forbidden texts of the church, and then that huge column of light that people saw was one of those forbidden spells in action. Somehow that could have upset the spirits and made them try to assembled everyone to find out the cause of the event.
DeleteMost likely the priest isn't coming forward because they don't want to be questioned on where they were during everything. And it could be they were trying to steal this knowledge for Prince Eugene or the Moswick homeland.
@anonymous good theory on forbidden text, that is what I was thinking as well but I wasnt sure until the priest were sworn to keep quiet about church info and now we have missing priest everything is starting to connect, good theory best theory so fAR
