Does anyone know if kanari yabai scanlations is still active- they are working on Iinazuke Kyoutei

I have noticed there has been no updates on this series Iinazuke Kyoutei, this series
http://www.tenmanga.com/book/IINAZUKE+KYOUTEI.html

We at deus ex scans are willing to take over series if they are no longer working on it but there is no contact info in how to contact them, Im all for purchasing the volume 3 that comes out in a few days but I have no clue if they are still working on series or if the group is still active, if anyone can assist please contact me

I would love to buy the volume 3 tank which has the missing chapters that have not been released because look at the public magazine scans they are nasty
Before Cleaning public magazine raws
After cleaning bad public scans

I would prefer buying tank and releasing it properly than using public raws if we are to assume the group is not active anymore if they contact me or release I will back off from series

  1. Well, I'm sure you already have it, but since you mentioned "no way to contact" I thought I'd at least mention it. They do have a WP blog, http://kanariyabaiscanlations.wordpress.com/ though yeah, 5 months without a post is a bad sign. :)

    1. I made a post on their site to see if they will communicate or respond back since they have no contact email or any way to contact them, because the volume 3 which has chapters 12 to 14 comes out 2/4/2014 and I can put that in my next manga order and I want to make sure if I do series I am not stepping on anyones toes and taking a series without permission, because just like everyone else I want to see an update and I can easily use the magazine raws for 11 to 14 but prefer to use tank itself which is cleaner if I was taking it over, but I want to at least confirm if they are still doing it and if they are not active just get confirmation or permission and not assume

    2. 5 months without a post is a bad sign, but last time I took over a series the group was inactive for almost a year but moment i took senran over the group started bitching and complaining that I stole a series they havent worked on for over a year

    3. I rather confirm than just assume I like the series and wouldnt mind taking it over

  2. Yes, I do see your point, and being courteous is ever a good thing. However, I have to say (normally) at around six months or so without a release or even a "heads-up" to their fellow fans (that as well is a question of "courtesy").... my opinion has always been a group doesn't have much of a right to complain if someone assumes they're dead and never coming back. What else would someone think in that situation? :)

    1. well I can say yeah but we have been attacked in past when a group claimed we stole a series and they were inactive almost 6months to a year and have still have yet to be active but we have been attacked so im more cautious these days I dont like scanlator drama

    2. because of scanaltor drama we lost mediafire because a rival group reported us to media fire banning our use of it, same occured with paypal

    3. with paypal we uncovered it was a rival group who decided to laugh at us because it was them who sent the donation and reported us as if it was stolen banning us from paypal

  3. Haaaa....well yeah, that's a shame. Though mediafire really is very tight about the content, and paypal has indeed turned into a bunch of assholes anyways XD
